Job Description

Acadia Construction is hiring two Boom Truck/Crane Operators to join our team.Reporting to the Field Supervisor, experienced candidates will be expected to be able to demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of Boom truck operations and crane handling. You will be responsible to ensure compliance to all Acadia Construction and customer safety policies and proceduresBoom Truck/Crane Operators must have:

  • Previous Railroad Experience, handling railcars and complying with all handling procedures
· Conduct mechanical & safety inspections as required and perform necessary maintenance and repairs· Perform general labour with crew as required
  • A valid Class 1A or 3A drivers license
  • Ability to clear a criminal records check.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment D & A Test
  • A willingness to work away from home
  • Crane Fundamentals or similar certification
