Our ideal candidate will be engaged, authentic, and prepared to positively impact our “best in class†hotels!Essential Duties: Extend a warm welcome and thank you to guests for staying with us and joining us for breakfastSet up and maintain breakfast buffet as required by brand standardsDisplay and replenish dishes, utensils, cups, trays, and hot and cold food itemsBrew coffee and efficiently replenish breakfast food itemsPrepare fresh fruit, display breads and pastriesMaintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environmentRemove dishes, clear tables, and empty garbageCheck the cleaning frequency chart and ensure the required tasks are completedMonitor inventory levels of all food, beverages and supplies and assist with ordering of stockEnsure breakfast storage and preparation areas are clean and organizedReport malfunctioning equipment, furniture in disrepair and other related deficiencies using the work order process to ensure they are rectified in a timely mannerAdhere to company, legislation, brand and industry standards, policies, and proceduresSupport company, brand and industry environmental initiatives and programs through the use of environmentally friendly, sustainable products and best practicesOther related duties as assignedSafety & SecurityMaintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises.Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietary informationPhysical RequirementStanding, bending, reaching, carrying, and lifting up to 30 lbsEducation & ExperienceHigh School graduate or equivalentExceptional Customer skillsExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsPrevious food and beverage serving experience is an asset, preferably in a hospitality setting.The opportunity is there for additional hours to be picked up as a HousePerson or Room Attendent after the Breakfast Room closes.Please note: the successful candidate will be subject to a background check.Job Types: Part-time, PermanentSalary: $13.15 per hourSchedule:
