Company descriptionWe are a small but busy family owned camera repair shop serving Saskatoon and area as well as Canda wide.Job descriptionBusy family-owned Camera Repair and Bell Satellite receiver repair company looking for someone whos the right fit for our growing and busy shop.The right individual would be mechanically and electronically inclined. Ability to perform skilled soldering and micro electronic repairs an asset.We are open to someone for part time hours that would transition to full time or full time right out the gate.Duties would include: Cleaning, testing and repairing modern digital cameras and lenses as well as vintage mechanical film cameras.Diagnostics and repair of bell satellite receiver boards.Packing and shipping of camera gear.Invoicing and work orders.General shop cleaning.Camera computer calibrations and testing.Photographing gear for sale online and posting products.Some retail sales.Skills Knowledge of electronics and components.Proficient in computer use.Intermediate to advanced soldering skills.Knowledge of Shopify and invoicing software.High attention to detail and strong work ethic.Easy going and a sense of humor.Ability to excel in a busy workplace with minimal supervision.Hands on training in camera repair, lens repair and cleaning will be provided for the right individual with the ability to progress into more complicated repairs.Applicant does not have to be a photographer.Wage will be generous and in line with the individuals training, experience, background and ability.Please forward resume, references and cover letter by email.Only selected individuals will be contacted.Please send your application electronically.
