Job Description

INTEGRATED ENGINEERINGPosition: Civil Project Team MembersPurpose: Integrated Engineering is looking for Civil Technologists and/or Technicians to join our growing team for various municipal infrastructure and highway projects throughout Saskatchewan. We have opportunities for site supervisors and field technicians to support project teams in the delivery of construction administration services.As part of the Acadia Group of companies, Integrated Engineering provides professional engineering services based out of its Saskatoon office.   • Field laboratory testing of soils and aggregate including sieve analysis, proctors, sand equivalents, Atterberg limits, and moisture content
  • Compaction testing in the field using nuclear density gauge
  • Quality control and quality assurance to company and client quality standards on a variety of construction projects
  • Keep accurate field notes and prepare reports
  • Perform intermediate and final survey for quantity, quality, and acceptance purposes during construction
  • Establish survey control
  • Maintain testing equipment
  • Perform construction supervision
  • Communicate with site team and contractors
  • Follow environmental and safety requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of Ministry of Highways standards, specifications, and testing standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • Civil Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent would be an asset
  • Civil construction field and/or equivalent work/educational experience
  • Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License
  • Experience in surveying transportation infrastructure projects with a solid understanding of GPS systems
  • Infrastructure construction site experience with a willingness to work on-site in a construction environment
  • Ability to travel to worksites across Saskatchewan as required

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with an attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an active environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to meet deadlines and tight schedules
  • Commitment to a team environment with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
