Job Description

West-Can Seal Coating Inc. (West-Can) is a privately owned road infrastructure company specializing in pavement preservation and roadway construction across Western Canada. With headquarters in Didsbury, Alberta, we have been in business for 32 years.West-Can is seeking qualified candidates to join our team for the upcoming season.Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Obey all traffic laws
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections & light maintenance
  • Report mechanical deficiency to Foreman and/or on-site mechanic
  • Transport goods
  • Be responsible for company fuel cards
  • Maintain daily driver logs
  • Maintain IFTA paperwork (daily)
Requirements:
  • Previous experience required
  • Ability to work extended hours (up to 16 hours per shift)
  • Willingness to travel and spend extended time away from home
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds
  • Class 1 or 3 driver’s license
  • No greater than 6 demerits
  • First-Aid & CPR Certificate an asset
  • Must be able to provide a 5 year commercial drivers abstract
  • Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
