What will your typical day look likeYour typical day will involve:
  • Ensuring user visible uptime and quality, providing operational expertise in making our systems fail rarely, and are fast to fix when they do fail
  • Providing recommended improvements to the team to improve the reliability and performance of applications
  • Minimizing manual involvement by imaginingamp; implementing continuous improvements that create an operating environment, including the development of new tools, dynamically monitoring, alerting,amp; automated self-healingamp; recovery
  • Engaging in application performance analysis and system tuning
  • Performing root cause analysis to identifyamp; implement continuous improvements
  • Presenting analyses and recommendations to team or discussing the technical merits of solutions with engineers and architects.
  • Owning the day-to-day health, uptime, monitoring, and reliability of services and server infrastructure
  • Practicing Agile and Scrum methodologies

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in CS, Engineering, or around five (5) years of experience
  • Experience with HTTPS and SFTP transfer protocols
  • Some knowledge of Azure Services, AWS, GCP
  • Experience with PowerShell and or Bash Shell
  • Sound understanding and experience with Network, Firewalls, Loadbalancers, connectivity and Integratio
  • Hands on experience and knowledge of database technologies, particularly MS SQL
  • Experience operating and supporting mission-critical applications (e.g. incident and outage management)
  • Understanding of the concepts and principles behind DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Agile, Lean, et
  • Passionate for making things better and driving action with a sense of urgency
  • Experience problem solving issues on globally distributed systems and critical product service environments.
  • Know what is possible using latest networking, infrastructure, database, and application technologies to driving automation and reliability improvements
  • Bring new thinking to challenge existing technology and processes
  • Firm sense of accountability and ownership and ability to work independently as well as with a team
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $69,000 - $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
