We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.The shift pattern for this post is 5 days over 7.Glasgow is a vibrant city bursting with character and personality where you will find world famous visitor attractions, a contemporary food and drink scene and a legendary nightlife.Within South Sector the AHP teams work together supporting each other to ensure we produce high quality care for our patients.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Acute Rehab team at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on a full time permanent basis.It is essential that you are educated to Diploma/Degree level in Physiotherapy while being registered with HCPC. You should have significant post graduate experience with relevant previous clinical experience in Acute Rehabilitation.This post involves a complex and varied caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, rehabilitation and discharge planning.You will be clinically responsible for rotational staff, support worker staff and students, inducting, training and managing staff on a daily basis. You will lead in service development and service change within the team. You will be actively encouraged to develop through your 4 pillars of practice while participating in CPD, audit and research.This post will require the post holder to work weekends.
