Job Description

Concrete Crew - Construction LabourerSince 1950, ASL PAVING has been providing quality road building and commercial paving services to cities, towns, and government agencies across Saskatchewan and is recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies. ASL PAVING LTD won its initial Best Managed award in 2017 and has successfully retained its status, becoming a Gold Standard winner in 2020.Our Saskatoon division is currently accepting resumes for the position of Construction Labourer. This is a full-time seasonal position.Required Qualifications

  • Valid Drivers License Required.
  • Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing will be required.
  • Knowledge of the City of Saskatoon and surrounding area an asset.
  • Knowledge of safe operation of tools.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
  • Heavy lifting required.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will report directly to a foreman and work with a team of five to eight members.
  • Assist in daily tasks associated with concrete curb and sidewalk construction.
  • Read and interpret grades and construction drawings.
  • Must be able to work in a team.
  • Good communication skills is a must.
