Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $80,000-120,000RM Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic leadership team as Controller. Our group includes Meidl Honda, Mainway Mazda, Oakwood Nissan, Infiniti Saskatoon, Prince Albert Toyota, Carlton Honda, and Mid-West Meidl Collision Centre.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the financial operations of multiple dealerships in the group.
  • Lead, coach, and train our skilled accounting department with the ability to perform and train on all aspects of dealership accounting.
  • Ensure month-end and year-end deadlines are adhered to.
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements preparing year end working papers.
  • Analyze and generate financial reports for management in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure that all standard accounting policies, procedures and controls are consistently and accurately applied and that all applicable federal, provincial and local regulatory laws and regulations are adhered to.
  • Oversee the timely processing of payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Ensuring all related tax remittances are done on time.
  • Assist with various ad hoc projects and initiatives as required.
Key Qualifications:
  • CPA designation or equivalent accounting education and experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with dealership management software such as PBS Systems, CDK, Quorum, or similar platforms.

Additional Requirements:
  • Automotive Dealership Industry experience is considered an asset.
