Job Description

To learn more about who we are, visit www.fcl.crs.What you’ll do:Reporting to the Analytics Manager, the Data Analyst provides specialized business analysis services to Local Co-op and FCL stakeholders and supports the development and delivery of a comprehensive BI & Analytics program. Other responsibilities include:

  • Business Relationship Management
    • Serve as a liaison and trusted advisor between EIM and FCL/CRS stakeholders.
    • Establish effective business relationship management and communication processes to proactively understand stakeholder information needs, manage service delivery expectations, and communicate issues that may impact solution or timelines.
  • Project Management
    • Manage adhoc requests for custom analytic solutions and determine project prioritization, scheduling the delivery of multiple stakeholder requests appropriately.
    • Manage and/or execute the end-to-end delivery of value-added business analysis solutions.
  • Data Management, Analysis, and Reporting
    • Acquire, integrate and manage a variety of business line, retail and enterprise level data required to provide business analysis services to stakeholders.
    • Assess for data quality and reporting process gaps and collaborate with EIM team members, FCL functional area and zone subject matter experts, Local Co-op stakeholders, and third-party vendors, to ensure the best quality data.
    • Determine the best way to present information and actionable insights, including visuals, oral and written communication, in a manner that can be understood by stakeholders at all levels.
  • Business Process Improvement
    • Responsible for selection and maintenance of the correct tools, data sets, and analytic methodologies to support the delivery of relevant, accurate business analysis solutions, including consultation with internal and external subject matter experts.
    • Undertake stakeholder consultations to ensure the solutions delivered meet stakeholder needs continue to be relevant and valued.
  • BI & Analytics Support & Integration
    • Support the development and implementation of new BI analytic solutions (CRS Analytics 360 program). Assist EIM’s Senior BI & Analytics Specialists with functional testing and production rollout.
    • Work with stakeholders on training, adoption and enablement (development of job aids and reference materials, training, data dictionaries, etc.).
    • Work with EIM team members and vendor partners to integrate historical business solutions into enhanced BI & Analytic reporting platforms (i.e., Teradata/MicroStrategy).

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Geographic Information Science, Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 – 6 years of relevant experience (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Demonstrated experience with Business Analytics or Data Visualization/Spatial Software (i.e., Microstrategy, Tableau, Cognos, ESRI), Query Logic (i.e., SQL, Python or R), practical statistical analysis in a business setting (i.e., SPSS, SAS, etc.), MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
  • Experience with managing business stakeholder relationships and external vendor partners.
  • Strong communication and story-telling skills (translate complex data/analytical results into meaningful, actionable insight), with ability to adjust to all levels of audience.
  • Proven analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
