Wage/Salary Info: Pay Band 7 $38.963 to $45.340 (5 step range)Application InformationEmployer Name: SASKATCHEWAN CANCER AGENCYEmployer Address: Map it4101 DEWDNEY AVEREGINA,SK CANADAS4T7T1Contact Name: Human ResourcesDescriptionEmployer Job Number: GO-00732530Facility: CARE SERVICES - SASKATOON The Registered Dietitian will use their in-depth scientific knowledge to provide high quality nutritional and hydrational education and instruction to oncology patients during their entire cancer care experience including:assessment, intervention, treatment coordination and administration, teaching, counselling, support and follow-up.This position reports to a Site Manager or Provincial Leader of Supportive Care within the Care Services Division.Required QualificationsBachelor Degree in Nutrition or equivalentCompletion of a Dietetic InternshipMembership with Dietitians of CanadaMembership with the Saskatchewan Dietitians AssociationExperience3 years experience in clinical nutrition Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to coordinate and periodically assume responsibility for work over othersAbility to design, deliver, and evaluate nutritional programs and services.Assessment skills, including the ability to interpret detailed patient information effectively.Communication skills are required to develop and present complex information including written documentation and verbal presentations.Competent in the use of computers and Microsoft applicationsConsiderable Judgment and problem solving ability is required to identify, analyze and define problems and select the most appropriate solution to rectify them.Human relations skills are required to develop formal relationships of a therapeutic nature to assist others in achieving their short or long term goalsRelevant clinical nutrition knowledge and ability to apply clinical knowledge in practice.Geographic Location: SaskatoonExpectFor more information on this job, please visit the employer #39;s website.
