Kelsey Pipelines Ltd is currently looking for an Excavator Pipelayer Operator. The position will be based at a project located in a rural community in Northern Saskatchewan. This project will be 15 days on and 6 days off rotation. This is a fly in/fly out project flying out of Saskatoon SK. This project consists of constructing a new sewage pumping station as well as a subdivision.Key Responsibilities and requirements:· Conduct daily equipment inspections and identify any safety/ mechanical concerns and report immediately to supervisor.· Operate Excavator Pipelayer to Move or Place Equipment and Materials into excavations, Load equipment and materials on and off trailers etc.· Ability to Operate Side Boom / Pipelayer and ability to run winches safely.· Operate equipment safely in adverse rocky terrain and operate with extreme caution and awareness of potential hazards to ensure site safety.· Read Understand and implement equipment Load Charts.· Determine Rigging configurations and capacity of rigging etc.· Knowledge of rigging and hoisting techniques· Knowledge of workplace Safety Requirements and procedures including but not limited to backing up procedures, use of spotters, signage, incident reporting, PPE and lifting of heavy loads.· Minimum 5 years experience in operating Side Booms/ Excavator pipelayer.Job Type: Full-timeWork remotely:
