Job Description

Overview:The Fountain Tire Saskatoon Distribution Centre (2820 Jasper Ave , Saskatoon, SK ) is currently looking for a Warehouse Associate with experience as a Receiver! We are looking for a candidate who has the warhouse experience to hit the ground running. This is not a position intended for those who are not experienced in the industry.First started in 1956 in Wainwright, Alberta, Fountain Tire expertly combines key factors such as experienced owners, licensed automotive technicians, and quality products to form a company driven to serve. Today, we have over 160 stores spanning as far west as Victoria, British Columbia and as far east as Vaughan, Ontario.As a Warehouse associate, each day will bring new opportunities, but you will always be involved in:

  • Picking Orders accurately by making sure KPI targets are met
  • Receiving trailers by Sorting, stacking, and putting away products to company standards
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks in a timely manner in order to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
  • Maintaining knowledge of inventory, stock locations, model numbers and handling instructions
  • Assisting in inventory management through documentation processes and inventory counts
  • Work alone and with a team to proactively increase the efficiency of the warehouse
What does it take to get on track
  • At least 1 years of previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Must have valid forklift license (submit with application)
  • Must have drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Standup and order picker experience an asset (send copies if you have them)
  • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Basic computer skills with Windows programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
