Job Description

Overview:The Fountain Tire Saskatoon Distribution Centre (2820 Jasper Ave , Saskatoon, SK ) is currently looking for a Warehouse Associate with experience as a Receiver! We are looking for a candidate who has the warhouse experience to hit the ground running. This is not a position intended for those who are not experienced in the industry.***Afternoon Shift (12:00PM-8:30)First started in 1956 in Wainwright, Alberta, Fountain Tire expertly combines key factors such as experienced owners, licensed automotive technicians, and quality products to form a company driven to serve. Today, we have over 160 stores spanning as far west as Victoria, British Columbia and as far east as Vaughan, Ontario.As a Warehouse associate, each day will bring new opportunities, but you will always be involved in:

  • Picking Orders accurately by making sure KPI targets are met
  • Receiving trailers by Sorting, stacking, and putting away products to company standards
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks in a timely manner in order to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
  • Maintaining knowledge of inventory, stock locations, model numbers and handling instructions
  • Assisting in inventory management through documentation processes and inventory counts
  • Work alone and with a team to proactively increase the efficiency of the warehouse
What does it take to get on track
  • At least 1 years of previous experience in a warehouse environment
  • Must have valid forklift license (submit with application)
  • Must have drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Standup and order picker experience an asset (send copies if you have them)
  • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Basic computer skills with Windows programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
