All in the Wild (AITW) – a leader in fine art nature photography with seven galleries located across Canada – is seeking a Head Office Operations Manager at our Saskatoon office. His art inspires a deeper appreciation of Mother Nature and efforts to conserve it. Jason is one of only 100 photographers worldwide to be recognized by the 2019 Wildlife Photographer of the Year (WPY) competition, London, UK.Responsibilities· Effective and progressive operations and efficiencies at our head office/production center.· Operational excellence of our head office through effective leadership.· Continued development and review of company systems and processes with regular reporting on achievement of goals, productivity and company growth.· Adoption and adaptation of technology in the company’s daily functions to facilitate efficient operations and workflow from artwork manufacturing, production, inventory management to final delivery to the client.· Improvement and continued development of social media, e-commerce and digital marketing.· Tasking of opportunities through a developed plan and course of action that is overseen by your direction.· Effective people supervision including leading, managing, and mentoring staff through recruitment, training, and coaching.· Manage operational resources including production chain efficiencies, workflow standardization and key financial indicators to strengthen All in the Wild’s prominent role in an increasingly competitive environment and to experiment with new opportunities and adjust as required.QualificationsYou are entrepreneurial, with a strong business acumen and the leadership needed by staff to achieve our collective goals. With your hands-on approach you will possess:· Five to eight years’ managerial leadership and marketing experience within the manufacturing or retail business sector; preferably with a passion for nature and/or visual arts.· Track record of leadership/supervisory experience in motivating others, delegating effectively, and managing team members positively.· Customer-centric thinking with a good understanding of our sales and marketing strategies.· Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.· Multitasking ability in a fluid environment, creative problem-solving, with the ability to prioritize, and perform under pressure to meet deadlines including competence in delegation and decision-making.· A relevant post-secondary business degree or the equivalent in experience and education.· Constant learner of efficient operations, industry trends and ability to implement best practices.· Proficiency in the use of business technology including POS, financial reporting, MS Office, various social media platforms, web and digital marketing.· Confident and influential communicator with excellent written, verbal, and digital skills.· Commitment to consultation and consensus-building as an active listener, with a mutually respectful management style and exemplary work ethic.· Understanding of data analysis and performance/operation metrics to ensure appropriate tracking and reporting tools are in place to monitor results.Salary is based on an established grid and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
