Programs range from primary care to acute care, and includes laboratories, pharmaceuticals and diagnostics. Additional programs that also support patient care and information include Virtual Care, the MySaskHealthRecord, and the Provincial Electronic Health Record. eHealth is also responsible for the administration of various pieces of legislation to manage the registration of/changes to all vital event records (e.g. birth, marriage, death, etc.), registration of legal name changes, registration of adoptions, and for maintaining the provincial health registry for health services eligibility and distribution of health services cards.The eHealth teams engage directly with health system partners and other stakeholders both provincially and federally to ensure all services are delivered efficiently and effectively.About the Role:eHealth Saskatchewan is seeking a results and detail oriented individual with strong technical knowledge. This is an integral role in supporting our day-to-day operations. We are looking for a team member who takes pride in their work and has strong customer service, technical and troubleshooting abilities.What are we looking forThe successful candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced and technology driven environment. Proven experience and skills in effective communication, leadership, problem solving, documentation standards, a rigor for change management protocols and quality control are also required.To qualify for this position you must demonstrate you have knowledge and experience in the following:

  • A solid understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems
  • Troubleshoot problems and validate root causes to identify resources to solve issues
  • Run system checking tools to verify issues
  • Microsoft SCCM/MECM
  • VMware Horizon and AppVolumes
  • Plan, install and configure infrastructure including: Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Implement in testing environment, execute test plans
  • Intermediate computer networking
  • Change management
The knowledge and skills required for this position would be attained by three or more years of experience providing technical support in an enterprise class network infrastructure. The completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a computer science program from a recognized post-secondary technical institute, or equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.Competencies:Communication:
  • Ability to write/create and communicate (verbal and written), explain or present (technical or non-technical) information to wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals and/or groups in a clear, accurate and understandable manner. Material may include, but is not limited to, user, systems and requirements documentation and procedures, project plans, letters, requests for proposals, feasibility studies, recommendations and reports, at a level appropriate to the target group.
Leadership:
  • Ability to conceptualize, develop, monitor, adjust and implement projects, including, the facilitating a group process to successfully implement technological change and business transition within the organization, taking into consideration numerous and changing priorities, and or resources to achieve project goals.
Problem Solving:
  • Ability to identify, explore and evaluate options on processes and methodologies and information technology solutions in order to design new business systems and develop feasible recommendations.
  • Ability to diagnose, extract, recall, synthesize, conceptualize and apply ideas, processes and information to incorporate new technology and diagnose technical problems(delays, malfunctions, and errors) in order to determine the true cause of the problem and to create new solutions in a constantly changing technological and business environment within a reasonable time frame.
Interpersonal:
  • Ability to build cooperative working relationships with coworkers and clients to ensure credibility and confidence in services provided as well to build capacity in client’s knowledge and ability to use and apply services.
Organizational:
  • Ability to independently prioritize and organize one’s own workload to meet tight deadlines and successfully complete projects in changing environment. (a bit of project management involved)
Team Work:
  • Ability to work independently and participate as a team member to meet the needs of clients and co-workers and to build productive, positive work relationships.
Technical:
  • Solid understanding and expertise implementing and supporting application installations in a large Microsoft Windows environment.
