Job Description

Looking for a stable and team-oriented work environment within the construction industryCP Distributors has a current opening for an ambitious Inside Sales and Special Projects Coordinator in our Saskatoon branch.CP Distributors is a trusted, value-added business partner in the construction industry and is dedicated to being the leading supplier of Commercial Doors, Frames, Finish Hardware and Specialties, Integrated Security Systems, and the service and installation of these products.The position is full-time and, for a highly motivated professional, has tremendous growth opportunities.As an Inside Sales and Special Projects Coordinator, you will be responsible to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Understand customer needs, answer calls, and handle walk-in traffic as needed;
  • Provide timely and accurate quotes using CP standard over the counter pricing policies, estimating, and quoting processes;
  • Act as a brand ambassador and use available opportunities to promote CP products and services that meet the customers’ plan and budget;
  • Take a proactive and professional approach to trouble-shooting and have strong organizational abilities.
Your Experience:
  • Ideally, you possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in over-the-counter building material distribution sales;
  • Foundational experience and knowledge of Division 8 and 10 scopes of work, specifically with building openings (doors, frames, and hardware).

  • Strong time management skills and ability to work well under pressure;
  • Exceptional customer service skills;
  • Committed to learning and becoming an expert in our product offerings;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Creative problem solver who works in a professional manner;
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues across our company, maintaining our close-knit, team-orientated culture.
