If you want to work in a dynamic team environment, and you excel when being trusted with responsibility then Westburne is the place for youThe Lighting Specialist is responsible for meeting the lighting sales target and assisting the Division’s management team in meeting and exceeding common corporate goals for achieving sales and gross margin.Responsibilities:

  • Promoting Westburne to ensure a competitive edge in the electrical industry
  • Responsible for lighting product sales and business development
  • Gather market information and analyze requirements and trends, on our pricing or product gaps and being able to effectively communicate to management
  • Meet with current and potential customers to identify their needs
  • Participate in joint calls with lighting vendors and Branch Sales Reps
  • Educate Branch Staff and Sales Teams on how to identify potential lighting opportunities
Skills:
  • Lighting experience and basic electrical knowledge is a prerequisite
  • Ability to analyze and sell within industrial and commercial markets
  • Good organizational skills
  • Strong sales aptitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent computer skills, MS Office, AS400 experience is an asset
