Manager, Faculty Support ServicesPrimary Purpose:The Manager, Faculty Support Services provides exceptional, effective, and efficient high level administrative support related to departmental operations, collegial processes, and recruitment and onboarding processes. This position works closely with department heads and oversees the Faculty Support team at Edwards.This position provides process support for all new faculty and department head appointments; salary reviews; sabbatical leaves and all other leaves; annual reviews, renewal of probation, tenure, and promotion procedures; and various other diverse and complex duties. This position will report to the Associate Dean of Research, Graduate Programs and Faculty Relations.Nature of Work:The position involves a high level of energy and creativity, analytical thinking, confidentiality, tact and sensitivity, and excellent communication skills to effectively deliver on goals and advance the vision and mission of the Edwards School of Business. Considerable discretion is required as the position is privy to and works with sensitive, highly confidential information. The work requires an ability to balance competing deadlines and multiple tasks. The incumbent is expected to build professional working relationships within the office and across campus.This position works both independently and as a team member, exercises discretionary decision-making and establishes effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
