Micro-credential Marketing & Communications OfficerPrimary Purpose:Micro-credentials are an exciting new initiative at the University of Saskatchewan being led out of the Provost’s Office. The primary purpose of this position is to support the development of marketing strategy, both internal and external, related to micro-credentials at USask. The Marketing & Communications Officer will work closely with the Micro-credential Program Coordinator to identify and fulfill the communications needs of this emerging initiative, helping to establish a brand that aligns with University of Saskatchewan reputational standard and brand guidelines. Additionally, the incumbent will contribute to ensuring the quality and relevance of newly developed micro-credentials, by working with the Micro-credential Program Coordinator to analyze the needs of employer and community partners, gather data related to emerging skills gaps, and conduct market research in partnership with academic units.This position reports to the Micro-credential Program Coordinator. This position has no direct reports.Nature of Work:This work requires creativity, close attention to detail and quality, and collaboration with a dynamic team focused on the development of the USask micro-credential strategy and of individual micro-credentials themselves.
