Networking Consultant is responsible for end to end delivery of network and firewall solutions at a variety of client sites.Responsibilities:
  • Deploy networking projects in a variety of business environments
  • Audit and assess current client network infrastructures
  • Work closely with the Network Architect on client proposals
  • Operationally act as a network SME for the company on all networking platforms
  • Work closely with the lines of business, vendors and internal staff for all assigned projects
  • Produce accurate and informative technical documentation
  • Prioritize and execute tasks in a high-energy team environment
  • Understand the dynamic nature of a clients business
  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to set and control expectations
  • Work well under pressure and demonstrate a willingness to help teammates
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) required
  • Fortinet- NSE4 certified Preferred
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – preferred
  • Palo Alto (ACE) certified or equivalent experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Minimum 4 years experience deploying network infrastructures
  • Minimum 4 years experience deploying VPN
  • Minimum 4 years experience in multi-vendor environments
  • Impeccable client facing communication skills
  • Experience in small to medium scale LAN and WAN environments
  • Intermediate to Senior knowledge of the following enterprise technologies
  • Wireless LANs
  • Firewalls (Fortinet/Cisco/Palo Alto)
  • Network Routing and Switching (Cisco/Fortinet)
