Job Description

We are looking for order processor/ Loader Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.Responsibilities:

  • Schedules and confirms all receiving appointments
  • Performs data entry and paperwork for shipments received
  • Verifies and adjusts product quantities on received product
  • Monitors catch weights, lot numbers, and expiration dates on received product
  • May assists with “will calls” and inventory as needed
  • Receive incoming shipments and compare items to BOL (Bill of Landing) and receiving schedule
  • Count items to ensure that the correct number has been received
  • Determine storage areas for incoming shipments and allocate appropriate space within the warehouse
  • Perform daily PIT (Power Industrial Truck) equipment inspections
  • Ascertain the quality and quantity of picked items and ensure that they are safely delivered to the delivery pallet
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two (2) years previous experience working in a warehouse environment
  • Must be able to learn and identify the many different incoming materials by sight and code
  • Inspect incoming loads for cold chain compliance
  • Record damaged or defective items as appropriate
  • Compare the amount and identification numbers of goods against orders
  • Organize records of incoming products
