Job Description

Looking for a stable and team-oriented work environment within the construction industryCP Distributors has a current opening for an experienced Painter in our Saskatoon branch.CP Distributors is a trusted, value-added business partner in the construction industry and is dedicated to being the leading supplier of Commercial Doors, Frames, Finish Hardware and Specialties, Integrated Security Systems, and the service and installation of these products.The position is full-time and, for a highly motivated professional, has tremendous growth opportunities.As a Painter, you will be responsible to:

  • Custom mixing paint and use a spray gun in a paint booth;
  • Sand parts to acceptable quality when there is rework required;
  • Provide exceptional customer service;
  • Ability to complete work orders and request quotations for supplies;
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the safety requirements of the job site and ensure protocols are properly followed;
  • Work collaboratively as a part of the branch service and install team.
Your Experience:
  • Ideally, you bring 2+ years of experience working as a painter in a commercial building environment;
  • Prior experience in the commercial construction industry with a willingness to learn about our products and services;
  • Must have a sound knowledge of paint, solvents, and paint compatibility;
  • Familiarity with Division 8, 10, and 28 is considered an asset.
Your Skills:
  • Customer-service oriented;
  • Strong time management skills to work in a face-paced, multi-project environment;
  • Effective communication skills;
  • Demonstrated accountability and dependability;
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues across our company, maintaining our close-knit, team-orientated culture;
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
