We are scaling fast and adding hundreds of new customers every month.As a Performance Marketing Specialist (Paid Search), you will help build, scale and manage paid search initiatives and campaigns to achieve business revenue objectives. This position requires previous experience in optimizing performance marketing initiatives and an eagerness to learn and grow. You will also have the opportunity to work with other paid media channels, such as paid social, marketplaces, and affiliate marketing. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven and creative thinker. As part of the growing Demand Generation team at 7shifts, you will be working with the latest technologies, an unmatched and high-performing marketing team, all while being empowered to grow and succeed in your role.The position can be based in New York, Saskatoon or Toronto, and is remote-friendly. We’re building an inclusive work environment that is representative of the diverse industry we have the pleasure of serving and encourage candidates from all backgrounds to apply.Key Responsibilities:Build, manage, and optimize, and scale B2B/SaaS paid search advertising campaigns in order to achieve monthly lead and revenue objectivesResearch and build new keyword lists, audience sets, and paid media channels to help scale marketing efforts, broaden reach, improve efficiencies, and discover new lead-generating opportunitiesWork with various paid search ad platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads) to manage paid search campaignsLeverage various ad tech and reporting platforms (SEMrush, Dreamdata, Google Analytics, Tableau) to measure and present campaign performance and uncover new optimization opportunitiesLearn and understand ICP to better target and curate advertising content to deliver value and maximize campaign resultsWork cross functionally with both demand generation and brand teams to ensure campaigns are following best-practices and remain up-to-date with creatives and product-market-fitTroubleshoot performance and technical issues with campaigns, landing pages, ad platforms, and ad tracking systems to ensure optimal campaign performanceRun A/B testing experiments in order to improve various creative elements across all marketing channels and assets (i.e. landing pages and ads) to find new wins and incrementally improve channel performanceWhat you have:2+ years of experience managing paid search advertising campaigns (Google and Bing)Strong understanding of how to use tools like Google Analytics and Google/Bing Ads editorAbility to proactively and independently define and execute marketing projectsExperience building reports, visualizing data using tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, and Excel/Google Sheets, as well as the ability to analyze data and trends, to generate actionable insightsFamiliarity with CRM and MA tools such as Salesforce/PardotExceptional communication skills – both written and verbal – and a track record of putting them to workPassion for digital marketing and stays up-to-date on latest industry news and trendsProblem-solving mentality with a strong attention to detailCreative mindset to evaluate ad performance and maintaining creative best practicesA degree or diploma in Marketing through University, College, and/or any credible learning institutionIt’d be cooler if you had:Experience managing other digital marketing channels such as paid social (i.e. Facebook and LinkedIn), marketplaces (i.e. G2 and Capterra), and/or affiliate marketing (i.e. Shareasale)Previous working experience in restaurant, technology, and/or SaaS industriesCertifications in Google, Facebook, and/or SalesforceAbout 7shifts7shifts is a cloud-based team management platform designed for the restaurant industry.
