The project is expected to produce 4.35 million tonnes of potash per year with initial production targeted for 2027, ramping up to full production over two years. Jansen potash project is located approximately 140 km southeast of Saskatoon. Potash opens a new front for growth and is an expandable resource that can support a century or more of operations. Potash provides BHP with greater diversification by commodity, country, and customer.PurposeAn exciting role within the Potash HR Business Partner team that will support the business in the strategy of, and advisory on, HR matters as well as, prioritized HR project support for the business. This role will influence business success through deep analytic and reporting capabilities, strong project management capabilities, and deployment of programs that will enable a high performing, inclusive and diverse workforce, in line with BHP culture.About the Role

  • Designs, develops, and delivers people focused organizational frameworks and tools in line with HR principles to enable the development of culture and capability within BHP Potash
  • Coaches senior leadership teams on the creation of strategic workforce plans and techniques to effectively evaluate the short-term and long-term effectiveness of implemented plans against clearly defined success measures
  • Contribute to the deployment of programs, training and initiatives that contribute to a highly engaged workforce
  • Assesses change impacts to prepare integrated change management plans, manages change readiness and resistance and coach leaders and impacted stakeholders in the adoption and successful delivery of the change
  • Makes evidence based and strategic decisions in alignment with longer term business objectives
  • Prepares, manages, and influences HR reports that are used at all levels of the business to drive and uplift business performance
  • Conducts presentations and facilitates workshops using storytelling to connect, influence and engage the audience
  • Applies an understanding of the business context, BHP operating model and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and value chain performance
  • Determines the underlying cause of problems and evaluates multiple solutions to ensure a planned and structured approach to solving problems
  • Identifies, engages and manages a range of diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Prioritizes work effort and resources accordingly
  • Engage the capabilities of the entire organization
  • Strive to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste
About YouRequired:
  • Undergraduate degree from a recognized post-secondary education institution, in a related field
  • Strong reporting and analytic capability
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and project management experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Recommended:
  • Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation
