Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Act as an owner #39;s representative to oversee staff and resources to meet departmental objectives successfully
  • Manage to business unit metrics to ensure that project objectives are achieved
  • Provide direction on work plan for the business unit
  • Actively solicit feedback and encourage divergent perspectives to identify the best solutions
  • Holding others accountable to their commitments
  • Working with employees to set attainable targets, competencies and priorities
  • Commit resources to achieve expected results
  • Evaluate results to ensure optimization of resources and service
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of progressive procurement experience in an industrial setting
  • Capability of running and managing the RFP process for multiple packages
  • Drafting contract exhibits (compensation, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (ED amp;I), scope of work (review only)) of varying sizes and complexities
  • Familiarity with software such as Ariba, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Office along with the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Willingness to travel to the work site
