Northern Industrial Construction specializes in remote access projects and you will have the opportunity to travel to some truly unique Northern locations generally inaccessible to the average Canadian.Full-cycle project management of select active projects
  • Procurement and cost control management
  • Document control management
  • Preparing baseline construction schedules and providing regular updates
  • Vendor contracts management
  • O&M Manuals
  • Project closeout documentation
  • Attending site visits as and when required
  • Implementation of estimating and or cost control software
  • Business development, market research and opportunity sourcing
  • Develop repeat business relationships with our clients
  • Prepare job status reports and other reports as required for reporting to senior management.
  • Responsible for the preparation, tracking, control and distribution of all Contract documents and drawings.
  • Ensure the timely pricing and processing of CRX changes/ Change Orders including distribution of information to the Project Team.
  • Provide support to the Trade Superintendents in the procurement and tracking requirements of tools and equipment in accordance with project requirements
Requirements:
  • Background in residential construction
  • Working understanding of construction tasks and sequencing
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft software such as, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ability to interpret construction contracts, drawings, and specification interpretation
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Work effectively in a team environment and under high pressure
  • High level of initiative and keen interest in problem solving
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $89,679.43-$127,907.01 per yearBenefits:
