Overseeing the operations of the casino event rooms, restaurant, bar and gaming floor work areas. Management of financial and material resources. Providing guidance and assistance to the Executive Chef, F&B Coordinator and F&B Supervisors. Human Resource management. Organizing and conducting staff training and ensuring correct procedures are being followed post-training. Ensuring that the Executive Chef, F&B Coordinator and F&B Supervisors adhere to correct procedures, conducting sporadic inspections, reviewing purchasing compliance, making sure all machinery and equipment are in good repair and daily shift briefings are being conducted. Utilizing a customer-focused approach to ensure that the service in the restaurant, event space and bars are carried out according to set standards. Organizing regional meetings and participating in corporate wide F&B meetings. Assisting in budgeting, forecasting and labour analysis.Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidates are subject to a background check as well are required to obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).
  • The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
  • Must possess valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License and acceptable driving record. (remove if not applicable)
  • Tobacco smoke/High noise levels (during time spent at Casino sites).

  • Compliance with all regulatory requirements as may be applicable to your position including but not limited to both SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC.
QualificationsEducation:
  • Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience:
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in Food & Beverage, including at least two years’ managerial experience.
  • Experience in budget creation, scheduling, inventory management, POS systems, event management, recipe costing, product knowledge, health & safety, food safety, purchasing, Food & Beverage legislation, food & drink promotions, safe liquor service, staff leadership, customer service, conflict resolution, proper table service, and mixology.
