Primary Purpose: Provide support to RxFiles staff members regarding upkeep of our Drug Comparison Charts, our website, and our online orders.Nature of Work: Reporting will be to Alex Crawley (RxFiles Associate Director), Brent Jensen (RxFiles Editor-at-Large), and Colette Regier (RxFiles Administrative Assistant). Some work may be done remotely from home, and some work will be required to be done in the RxFiles offices on campus. Hours will be casual and in general there will be flexibility as to when hours will take place depending on the students schedule and RxFiles employees schedule.Typical Duties or Accountabilities: The successful applicant will assistant Colette Regier with the mailing and distribution of our 13th Edition book; help coordinate participant sign up for our RxFiles conference; update search index terms for our rxfiles.ca website; and other tasks regarding the technical maintenance of our book. In general there will be a wide variety of tasks that, upon completion, will be of great asset to the RxFiles team. For example, one day you might place mailing stickers on boxes of books; another day you may troubleshoot email requests from conference participants; another day you might search for broken links on our website.Education: open to any current pharmacy studentLicenses: n/aExperience: Previous community pharmacy experience is desirable.Skills: The ideal candidate will be personable; extremely detail-orientated; self-motivated; have a passion for ensuring the excellence of our RxFiles book.
