We also offer CRM and marketing automation products, which we know, offers infinite scalability (and unlimited commission potential!).Octopus Creative is fishing for their newest team addition as a Sales & Account Manager who isn’t just a salesperson but rather a talented human who can put themselves into our clients’ clients shoes and make strategic decisions, for our clients sake.As a Sales & Account Manager, you MUST be able to develop client avatars, understand the client journey and map out the best course of action and products necessary to best support our clientbase. Ability to do consultative selling is key to your success with us and our clients.We’re looking for someone who can really represent Octopus Creative on the front end. You must be beyond comfortable with client interactions, friendly & chill when chatting with prospects and clients and have a strategic mind to guide your support crew to action out your desired strategy for your clients.You must be very organized, be a follow-up jedi, understand what makes people tick and be keen to uphold deadlines to ensure that $%^# gets done, so it doesn’t hold up the rest of the creative process.You must feel comfortable working with a project manager and your creative team to deliver on the needs & vision of your clients, with that Octopus flare.And no, unlike other positions posted on most job sites… we don’t expect and aren’t looking for a unicorn who also knows social, can design websites, code apps or do our bookkeeping… nope… just understand how to strategically plan and sell that strategy to both our clients and your direct reporting crew using the proven systems.You must have prior experience in an agency.We do require that all crew and contractors go through our certification process post-hire to have a thorough understanding of how we deliver our services to our clients.Ultra competitive pay, commissions/bonuses, awesome health & dental benefits, including a health spending account!Pay range is from $60k-$120k+. Commission isnt capped.What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with the Director of Business to develop sales strategies for inbound and outbound sales
  • Strategize on marketing & content plans directly with clients, prospects and your direct reporting crew
  • Strategize with the marketing team on sales and marketing plans for Octopus Creative
  • Thoroughly understand reporting requirements with our clients
  • Take inbound sales calls, sales tickets and live chats for Octopus Creative
  • Formulate annual, quarterly and monthly strategies for clients
  • Complete discovery calls with prospective clients
  • Client account management
  • Work closely alongside the Project Manager to ensure that all clients are well supported
  • Report on sales goals, targets, client satisfaction and progress to the Executive team
  • Prepare creative & marketing briefs for projects for our team to action out based on your sales discovery
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and support crew to ensure projects are completed before their respective deadlines for ultimate client satisfaction
  • Help facilitate webinars, workshops, seminars and public speaking engagements for lead generation
What we’re looking for:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an agency
  • Strong background and prior experience in sales is a must
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Well-versed with content marketing & strategy
  • Must retain quarterly and annual trainings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent at task management and team direction
  • Self-motivated, driven and disciplined
  • Ability to work independently
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Great prioritization skills with results focused execution
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced, deadline focused, and collaborative work environment
  • Able to take constructive criticism
  • Strong organizational skills

This is a full-time position with the expectations to meet set deadlines, sales & retention targets.
