Optimal Liquor Store coverage and service, distribution, merchandising, promotion and development) to maximize sales volume, net profit and product distribution within the province of Saskatchewan.We are looking for a teammate with:

  • University or College Degree
  • Wine experience and knowledge
  • Beverage Alcohol and/or Food and Beverage management experience is an asset
  • Demonstrated selling skills along with product/market knowledge
  • Resides within territory
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint
This teammate will be accountable for:Sales Results
  • Maximize sales through all trade channels.
  • Ensure volume, distribution, promotional, merchandising and public relations activities identified within Regional Sales Plan are effectively implemented and executed through regular and consistent coverage of Provincial Liquor Stores ( as set out in the business plan), with strengthened sales, listings, facings and inventories Liquor Store managers.
  • Ensure sales outputs (case sales and listings) meet targeting objectives.
  • Ensure product sales meet profit targets via effective use of time and financial resources.
Financial/Administrative
  • Operate territory within approved expense budget.
  • Knowledgeable with respect to company expense policies relative to travel, entertainment, Liquor Store coverage and wine donations; including ability to exercise judgment in terms of obtaining prior approval before committing company with respect to time, effort and expense.
  • Preparation of prescribed daily, weekly and monthly summaries for submission to Sales Manager.
Business Development
  • Maintain productive business relationships with all key Liquor Store personnel, government officials and industry contacts. Monitor, communicate (to Sales Manager), and recommend solutions regarding competitor activities and developments, market/product opportunities.
  • Communicate company sales policy to customers.
  • Develop new business opportunities through sound public relations activities and superior customer service, including:
  • Giving presentations to various interest groups (imparting wine knowledge, etc.)
  • Ensuring prompt and proper handling of all customer concerns and complaints.
  • Maintaining exemplary professional conduct and accepted social and industry practices when representing the interests of the company
Communications
  • Active participation in departmental meetings, ensuring relevant information is disseminated and acted upon accordingly.
  • Communication of relevant sales and competitive information to appropriate personnel (ie. Sales Manager) on a regular and timely basis as agreed upon by both parties.
