Job Description

Value Tire (Saskatoon) Ltd. is now accepting applications for a_Front Counter Service Writer__ _We are an independent family-owned and operated business with locations in Saskatoon, Yorkton and Regina. We have been proudly serving customers in the province of Saskatchewan for the past 30 years. You would become a part of one of Saskatchewans largest independent Automotive Repair and Tire Dealerships, leading the way in service and customer satisfaction.This is a full-time job opportunity in Saskatoon which is available immediately. The position primarily involves reporting to the Store Manager(s) and being responsible for the delivery of customer sales and service including scheduling appointments, ordering parts, providing cost estimates and liaising with the tire and automotive technicians. The complete list of duties will be outlined for individuals being interviewed.Qualifications: - Knowledge of parts and automotive service industry an asset- Previous experience in an automotive retail environment an asset- Excellent written and oral communications skills- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task- Basic computer skills- Ability to delegate work- Positive attitude and ability to work as a team memberDuties: - Greet and advise customers on their automotive and tire needs- Develop cost estimates for work order/schedule work orders- Maintain communication between shop schedule and customer’s vehicles/monitor workflow- Keep up-to-date on the tire and automotive industries- Receive supplies from delivery drivers- Receipt inventory and assist with accounts payable- Process warranties and returns and follow up on these credits- Maintain OHS standards- Keep shop clean/maintained- Other duties as assignedWe Offer: - Salary based on experience and knowledge of automotive industry)- Ongoing Training- Benefits Package (includes Health, Dental, Vision and Pension Plan)- Safe, Clean and Friendly Working EnvironmentIf you are an individual who is self-motivated and a team player who takes pride in their work, we would be happy to have you as part of our team.Work remotely
