Zeebest Plastics of Canada Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our growing team as a Sales Representative in our Saskatoon office.About UsWe are a plastic tank manufacturer, based in Morinville, AB, with an office in Saskatoon, SK. We have been making a large selection of tanks, trays and basins, as well as custom products, for virtually anyone who has need for plastics, for over 30 years.We provide products to a wide variety of industries, including environmental, oil and gas, mining, relocatable structures (trailers), agricultural, chemical, industrial, construction, residential water and wastewater… so almost everyone! Our products cover almost any application: water and wastewater, chemicals, mobile applications, stationary storage, transport, underground storage, etc. In addition to our own manufactured products, we are also a distributor for Fibreglass Reinforced Plastics (FRP) products (up to 35,000 gallons) which are used for water and wastewater, above and below ground use. We carry a complete line of pumps, hose, fittings and various other accessories. As a manufacturer, we also do custom work, for those “special projects”.About the OpportunityThe Shipper/Receiver & Inside Sales Representative is responsible to conduct effective purchasing, inventory control, shipping and receiving and inside sales activities. This position supports the growth and development of the Saskatoon branch, in collaboration with sales and leadership.

• Serve walk-in customers, answer incoming phone calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
• Take orders in person, by phone and email and communicate product information, options, price, availability, and warranty information to customers clearly and concisely.
• Prepare and send out quotes and make follow up calls to all customers, answer questions and provide any necessary clarification on quotes and options.
• Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently in Sage.
• Process order invoices and take customer payments using the POS machine.
• Purchase inventory, shop supplies, etc., as required to fulfill orders.
• Stage loading and unloading areas with appropriate equipment, materials and space.
• Receive, inspect, inventory and document incoming shipments, and enter received inventory into Sage in a timely manner.
• Document received quantity and quality discrepancies, complete appropriate paperwork, and resolve issues with vendors.
• Assist drivers with loading and unloading shipments by hand or using a forklift or other lifting mechanism as appropriate.
• Organize and move received materials to the appropriate place in the warehouse quickly to keep the staging areas and walkways clear.
• Contact couriers and trucking companies for freight quotes and provide quotes to customers in a timely manner.
• Arrange for couriers and trucking companies to pick up and deliver orders to customer sites on time.
• Communicate with sales, customers and trucking companies for a smooth shipment process, ensure loads are prepared, packaged, documented, and inventory is relieved in Sage.
• Inspect all outgoing product to ensure it meets Zeebest quality standards.
• Inspect customer returned products to ensure all pieces are included and confirm the returned product is the correct product.

About Our Ideal Candidate

• Experience with customer service in an order desk, parts counter or similar position.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience with at least 1 year in shipping/receiving.
• Experience using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) & courier/trucking company online sites/shipping software.
• Certified forklift operator.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Experience with SAGE is considered an asset.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Customer Service attitude and ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Ability to learn and retain large volumes of product information and clearly explain product features to customers.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Professional with high integrity, ethics, confidentiality and a strong work ethic.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including pleasant and efficient phone manner.
• Skilled at effectively handling customer issues and vendor issues.
• Understanding of inventory controls.
• Proactive safety attitude and ability to motivate others to work safely.
