Temporary Custodian / Maintenance Position AvailableMohyla Institute is a post-secondary student residence. This position is responsible for helping out with all custodialamp; basic maintenance duties to the interior and exterior of the building and grounds maintenance.Responsible for maintaining the property through janitorial duties, groundskeeping, and basic facility maintenance. Responsible for checking facilities for safety hazards and reporting any deficiencies. Responsible for moving furniture and supplies as directed by Supervisor. Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of apartment turnovers. Ensure the grounds and facility are maintained in a healthy, safe, sanitary, and attractive manner.Minimal Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent. Ability to provide a clear criminal record check; physical ability to perform a full range of maintenance tasks; physical ability to perform groundskeeping and janitorial duties including lifting/carrying heavy objects up to 50 lbs; and knowledge of modern custodial methods, materials, and equipment, including the safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals.
