Operating fully remote, we offer training and consulting around multigenerational workplace, diversity recruiting, minority leadership development, etc.We’re looking for a video editing student intern that’ll be supporting our editorial function. The internship will be 10 hours a week lasting 8 weeks with an opportunity for extension. The compensation for the internship will be through an honorarium paid upon successful completion of the internship (roughly equaling $15.75-$17/ hour).The position is designed to give work experience in video editing while exposing them to the field of content production. The skill sets gained in this position can be applied to the career paths such as a video editor or a content marketing coordinator.Your Role: As you get to learn more about the organization and the field, you’ll be able to refine your experience to best align with your career interests. But here’s a list of tasks you can expect to take on as an intern:

• Using a 4k video editing tool of their choice to perform editing tasks in accordance with the editing briefs and the editing schedule
• Assist in creating video editing briefs and thumbnails as needed
• Assist in content asset management tasks such as managing the raw footage, file labeling, recording the video in the content directory, etc
• Assist the principal consultant and the growth team in determining a video editing schedule for the next 8 videos
• Creating video snippets as required using our AI software

Skills & Education:

• Knowledge of video editing tool that allows editing in 4k along with access to the tool
• Computer able to process large video files (500MB+) with wifi speed of minimum 5mbps
• Ability to work remotely and autonomously without missing a deadline
• The requisition number for this role isnt 408. The correct one is 303.

• Phenomenal interpersonal skills with a genuine love for connecting with people
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to learn new technology and information quickly
• Love for video editing, memes, lifestyle magazines, etc

Strongly preferred but not required:

• Previous experience in a video editing role
