OUR COMPANY: Denison Mines Corp. (“Denison”) is a uranium exploration and development company with project interests in the Athabasca Basin region of northern Saskatchewan and office operations based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Denison is a public company listed on the NYSE American and TSX stock exchanges, and is also engaged in mine care and maintenance for decommissioned mine sites through its Closed Mines group based in Elliot Lake, Ontario. Denison’s flagship project is the Wheeler River Uranium Project ( Wheeler River ), which is located approximately 35 km north-northeast of Cameco’s Key Lake Operation and 35 km southwest of Cameco’s McArthur River Operation in the eastern portion of the Athabasca Basin. The Project is accessible by vehicle and is located about 5 km west of Highway 914.Wheeler River is the largest undeveloped uranium project in the eastern portion of the Athabasca Basin region in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. A Pre-Feasibility Study (“PFS”) was completed in accordance with NI 43-101 in September 2018 highlighting the selection of the in-situ recovery (“ISR”) mining method for the development of the high-grade Phoenix deposit. On September 22, 2021 Denison announced the initiation of the Feasibility Study (“FS”) for Wheeler River. Concurrently, Denison is also advancing the environmental assessment (“EA”) process which is a critical step to securing the approvals necessary to develop and operate a mine in Canada.With the advancement of the ISR mining method, Wheeler River has the potential to be one of the lowest-cost and most environmentally sustainable uranium mining operations in the world.In addition to supporting the Company’s efforts directed at the advancement of Wheeler River, Denison’s exploration team continues to actively pursue the growth of the Company’s uranium resource base including an objective to discover of additional ISR amenable uranium resources in the Athabasca Basin region.THE ROLE: Denison is looking to fill the role of Temporary Field Geologist to engage with the Project’s exploration and evaluation teams, as the company progresses towards the future development of an ISR uranium mining operation.Reporting to the Denison Field Lead, the primary responsibility of the Field Geologist is to provide technical support to Denison’s 2022 field programs. This will include various evaluation programs near the Phoenix deposit as well as exploration programs on the surrounding Wheeler River exploration claims. You will be responsible for the collection, interpretation, and modelling of field and subsurface data.The role is being offered as a temporary position starting on or about February 1, 2022, for 6-12 month term.The position is based at Denison’s Wheeler River Project site, working on a 2-week on / 2-week off rotation. The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging their own travel to a designated pick-up point en-route from Denison’s Saskatoon office to the Project site. Denison will provide board and lodging while at the Project site.The successful candidate will be required to follow and enforce Denisons health and safety policies and procedures, including the Covid-19 Work Safe plan and Covid-19 vaccination protocol. All current staff and any visitors who will attend Denison’s offices, warehouses, field sites and operations are required to be vaccinated for Covid-19. You have direct experience related to exploration and development and are knowledgeable about overseeing drilling operations. You are a well-rounded candidate with good organizational skills, a strong sense of responsibility and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. You are a critical thinker who exhibits the ability to evaluate and resolve complex problems. In addition, you have:

• BSc. degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Mine Engineering or equivalent from a recognized post-secondary institution
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience (e.g., in mining industry), in Athabasca Basin uranium exploration and development or mining operations
• A commitment to Health and Safety in the workplace
• Strong understanding of unconformity-related uranium deposits
• Strong understanding of structural geology, geochemistry and geophysical methods
• Strong understanding of hydrogeological concepts
• Hydrogeological field experience is considered an asset
• Experience using geology-specific software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to interact successfully with all levels of staff, contractors, and vendors
• Valid First Aid certification

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately log and sample drill core, including high-grade uranium mineralization
• Conduct various field hydrogeological investigations including pump and injection tests
• Coordinate drill pad and trail preparation, spotting and stopping holes, and rig moves
• Assist in the interpretation and modelling of the geological and hydrogeological results for the Phoenix deposit
• Coordinate the on-site work of external groups, including consultants and contractors
• Support the collection of Project environmental baseline data on an as-needed basis
• Act as direct supervisor for site employees as required
• Complete studies and collect data required to support the planning and development of on-site infrastructure
• Prepare written progress reports as required
