Job Description

Mobil Grain is now hiring a full-time Transportation & Logistics Supervisor to work out of our Delisle location, working with Big Sky Rail and Last Mountain Railway. Mobil Grain is a family-founded company (now owned by AGT Foods) that operates the 2 Saskatchewan shortline railroads: LMR (85 miles) and BGS (250 miles). We’re looking for a detail-orientated, efficient, organized team player – someone who can leverage thier planning and organizational skills to support our train crews and maintain the fundamentals of our transportation software and systems.We offer a health benefits package after 3 months of full-time work, as well as an optional retirement savings plan after 6 months full-time. We pay well for experience, precision, and efficiency.This position combines a wide variety of tasks, including (but not limited to):

  • Participate in planning and execution of train movements
  • Monitor and update car movements in our transportation management software
  • Dispatch and supervision of train crews
  • Data collection, organizing and reporting
  • Inbound and outbound car control and data entry
  • Customer service coordination and planning
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as required
The successful candidate will:
  • Be proficient in computer skills, particularly have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Be organized and detail focused
  • Have exceptional communication skills
  • Have a valid, Class 5 Driver’s License
  • Be self motivated
  • Be willing to work on call (evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.)
