Type: Urgent CareTerm: Full Time or Part TimeDescription: We are seeking candidates for the position of urgent care physician to work in our modern Urgent Care Clinic. Various day time, evenings and weekend shifts are available.Qualifications: Candidates will hold certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada. They will have CMPA insurance coverage, and have Staff Membership in SHR. Candidates will have a license to practice medicine in SaskatchewanAdditional Information: Lakeside Medical Clinic has been providing primary care to residents of Saskatoon and surrounding area since 1981. Our Urgent Care services are open 7 days a week, 362 days a year, Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Weekends and Holidays 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.For decades one of the largest clinics in Saskatchewan, Lakeside has just moved into a new purpose-built medical facility in Saskatoon, located within Muskeg Lake Cree Nation. Our combination Family Medicine and Urgent Care facility is complemented with a pharmacy, medical imaging, physiotherapy, bracing/orthotists, dentistry, optometry on the premises, with more medical services planned. There is ample free parking for physicians, staff and patients. We are located minutes away from lab services, and are adjacent to College Drive, a few minutes from Royal University Hospital and the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.Lakeside Medical Clinic maintains a reputation as a destination for patients, staff, and physicians, and boasts a large group of 31 physicians, who support one another with a wide range of professional interests and several decades of experience. Lakeside is always very well equipped, with state-of-the-art furnishings, medical equipment, and well-maintained IT services, including Accuro EMR with home access for all physicians. Our experienced Executive Management Team leads a large and well-trained support staff compliment which allows our physicians to work efficiently and on-time, to maximize the quality and quantity of patient care, as well as physician earning potential. We engage in group CME events and social events to maintain our reputation as a great employer and we welcome newcomers to the Lakeside “Family”.We have done everything possible to protect our physicians’ ability to provide medical service and earn income during the pandemic. We are aggressively screening our clients for COVID risk factors and can boast that we did not close our doors or stop providing service at all due to pandemic.
