Auctioneers is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Yard Staff. In this role, you #39;ll help our team to organize the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and yard for auctions, and you #39;ll work at our temporary auction sites in the region.No auction experience is needed to work in this role! Lots of hands-on training will be provided!The Opportunity: General inventory controlCheck-in equipment – liaising with RASC and sales to ensure contracts are in placeRun a loader or skid steer to load and unload as/when needed (we will certify if not already done)Perform inspections for RBA listingsIdentify, check-in, and advise inspection services for online channel assetsRun loadout and check-out equipment. Consistently communicating with the Saskatoon site.Yard maintenance/general upkeep of RBA assetsSchedule and work with local mechanics and contractorsBoost equipmentOther tasks as neededInteract with local consignors in the field on a case-by-case basis (advertising photos, predelivery inspections, etc)Ability to work alone safely.Here’s what you bring: Experience operating heavy machineryAble to operate a forklift is an assetGood spoken and written English is requiredGood computer skills and able to learn new programs quicklyA track-record of working safely, and helping others work safely, tooYou must be able to relate really well with customers and team membersYou like to work in a team, helping out wherever needed; but you can also self-start and work on your ownYou #39;re organized, and can handle lots of tasks at onceA high level of attention to detailYou like to work hard, but still have fun on the jobActively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers.This job will require you to: Hold and maintain a valid, clean driver’s licenseClimb on, off and under large equipment and trucksWork outside year-round, no matter the weatherWork overtime, including weekend hours, at 4 onsite and 1-2 offsite auction sales. You can expect to work extra hours for 2-3 weeks prior to each sale, during each sale, and for 1-2 weeks after each saleTravel as required to other auction sites within the region.What we offer:Our success is built on the drive and dedication of our people.
