Location: Pickering, ONPosition Type: Full-TimePay Rate: $19/hourWorking Daysamp; Hours:

  • Days: Tuesday to Saturday
  • Hours: 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Job Overview:We are looking for a passionate and driven Store Manager who shares our commitment to empowering the music community. This role requires someone with a strong background in operations, customer service, and inventory management, as well as a deep appreciation for music and audio technology.As the Store Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our music store, ensuring that customers receive unparalleled service and that our store continues to be a trusted resource for musicians, DJs, and audio professionals.Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:
  • Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure the store remains organized, welcoming, and a hub for music enthusiasts.
Customer Support:
  • Provide expert guidance to customers on selecting, using, and maintaining DJ, audio, and lighting equipment.
  • Build relationships with customers, fostering a loyal and engaged community.
Inventory Management:
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and oversee inventory tracking.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely restocking and access to the latest equipment.
Social Mediaamp; Brand Building:
  • Manage and grow the store’s online presence through engaging social media content.
  • Promote events, workshops, and sales to strengthen the store’s connection with the music community.
Trainingamp; Education:
  • Support the store’s mission by coordinating DJ training sessions and live sound workshops.
  • Share knowledge about audio equipment and industry trends with both staff and customers.
Maintenanceamp; Compliance:
  • Ensure the store and its equipment remain in top condition.
  • Oversee basic maintenance tasks and uphold safety standards.
  • Submit a criminal record check as part of the hiring process.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in the music industry, with a passion for audio and DJ equipment.
  • Strong skills in data entry, bookkeeping, and customer service.
  • Experience managing inventory and overseeing warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in social media management and creating engaging content.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead a small team.
