Job Description

Job titleInstaller AssistantReports toGeneral ManagerJob purposeThe candidate will install various high quality interior and exterior architectural and corporate signage. Strong communication skills with the ability to work with a variety of personalities across organizational departments are critical as candidate will be working directly with Project Managers and Installation professionals to ensure all projects are completed safely with quality control for excellence.Duties and responsibilities

  • Confirms the signage accurately conforms to the work order (i.e., spelling, medium, size,
  • etc.)
  • Loads and transports signage to destination
  • Prepares worksite by removing unwanted signage, preparing mounting surfaces, and
  • Ensuring all electrical sources are in order (if applicable)
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures in the preparation and installation phases
  • Installs signage in strict compliance with the work order
  • Cleans installation site
  • Establishes and maintains effective team relationships with all support departments
  • Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
  • Must be able to carry heavy objects, operate saws and power tools of all types.
  • Must be able to work well with others.
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Set up electrical and lighting components for LED, fluorescent and neon signage.
  • Assemble and prepare signage for installation.
  • Maintain clean and organized work area. (breaking down of crates, cleaning truck, signs, etc.)
  • Ability to operate computers and various power and hand tools.
  • Travel requirements - minimum of two nights a week outside the Moncton Area (overnight)
QualificationsQualifications include:
  • Education - High school diploma
  • Specialized knowledge - Basic electrical/wiring knowledge
  • Abilities - Must be physically able to perform sign installations, which includes lifting, climbing, and working at heights greater than 10 feet
  • Other characteristics such as personal characteristics - Ability to multitask, switch assignments if needed, assist in meeting deadlines and maintain high degree of accuracy in detailed work

Working conditionsThe physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. Sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $18.00-$25.00 per hourBenefits:
