Job Description

Adapt Search Group Ltd. Connects job seekers with top employers. We are currently looking for an office administrator for an immediate starting position in the Scoudouc area.Your role:As the office administrator, you will have the primary responsibility of supporting the day-to-day requirements of the team, including the management, the employees, partners, and associates. You will act as the “go-to” person for administrative or operations needs and inquiries.Some Duties include but not limited to:· Prepare Inventory/safety/operation audit· Shipping/receiving document prep· Prepare compliance reports eg heat treatment· Supply ordering· Training coordination· Some HR responsibilities (time clock, employee onboarding)· Training co-workers new to a given role within the officeWhat you bring:· An energetic individual, problem-solver, and inherently cooperative.· Taking ownership of all assigned job duties, meeting the competing deadlines throughout the monthly accounting cycle.· An aptitude to learn with great attention to detail· Organized with the ability to prioritize· You demonstrated initiative and the ability to complete tasks with minimal instruction and oversight· Flexible and adaptable: This will be a dynamic position with a wide variety of responsibilities· Ability to exercise good judgment, tact and diplomacyQualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years experience in an administrative capacity or as an Administrative Assistant
  • Education: A post-secondary diploma in office administration, accounting, finance, or commerce is an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills and a willingness to take initiative
  • Excellent computer skills in the following software applications: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other office software
  • Developed analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • An aptitude for managing competing priorities in a busy office environment
  • A willingness to be cooperative, assist others and take on new responsibilities.
  • The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
  • A high degree of personal responsibility, attention to detail and accountability
  • Self-motivation with a proactive approach to completing tasks
  • A sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
