Job Description

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in finishing concrete surfaces for both residential and commercial projects. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for creating smooth, durable, and visually appealing surfaces according to project specifications. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the work area by cleaning, setting up forms, and ensuring proper drainage.
  • Assist in placing and securing concrete forms, ensuring they are properly aligned.
  • Finish surfaces using hand and power tools to achieve the desired texture and appearance.
  • Smooth and level freshly poured concrete to the specified depth and contour.
  • Apply coloring and staining agents to enhance the appearance of the concrete if required.
  • Create decorative patterns and textures using various finishing techniques.
  • Monitor and control the curing process to ensure proper hardening of the concrete.
  • Apply sealants and curing compounds to protect the finished surfaces.
  • Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
  • Repair and patch imperfections or cracks in the concrete as needed.
  • Follow safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Properly use and maintain tools and equipment.
  • Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher in residential and commercial construction.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in concrete finishing or a related field.
  • Knowledge of decorative concrete techniques.
  • Familiarity with different types of concrete and their applications.
