Home: SeaforthLocation: Seaforth, ONPosition: Retirement Home Attendant Tired of living to work Work to LIVE in beautiful Seaforth! Located in the heart of Huron County, Seaforth is only a short distance from the shores of Lake Huron/Grand Bend, and is also close to the city of London and town of Stratford. There are many activities residents of Seaforth can enjoy, such as all the joys beach life has to offer, as well as year-round camping and amazing outdoor activities at Pinery Provincial Park. There are also flea markets, farmers markets, and numerous restaurants and art galleries around ‘Ontario’s West Coast’. And, with Hensall Heritage Hall, and the Stratford Theatre close by, you’re never far from amazing live theatre!Ask yourself three questions:

If the answer is yes, we would love to know more about you!Southbridge Care Homes is looking for a Retirement Home Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for the care and emotional support of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability. The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect. This person will always encourage and remain empathetic to the clients.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Home assistance – Provide light housekeeping.Meal service and nourishments. Medication dispensing. Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding and grooming. .
  • Companionship – Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging and assisting an individual.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
  • Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time
