Education

  • Secondary (high) school graduation diploma

Work setting
  • Work in employers/clients home
  • Preference is given to individuals living in Selkirk or the area
ResponsibilitiesTasks
  • Housekeeping activities
  • Food preparation which follow the guidelines provided by the hospital
  • Resolve conflict situations
  • Accompany client to appointments to hospital on the bus for dialysis which occurs 3-days a week
Supervision
  • One 80-year old woman in her personal two-bedroom apartment

  • Gasoline paid when outings are conducted in the day
  • $14.50 start wage and $15.11 after 6-months; incremental increases there after
  • Overnight stipend is an additional pay
