Selkirk GM is looking to add a Shipper/Receiver to our growing team. Our locally owned and operated family dealership prides itself on exceptional customer service and is located just 20 minutes north of the perimeter.Reporting to the Parts Manager, as the Shipper/Receiver you will be responsible for shipping, receiving and recording the movement of parts, supplies, materials, equipment and stock for the dealership.Primary Responsibilities· Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents.· Assemble containers and crates, record contents, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions.· Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances.· Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.· Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas.· Maintain computerized record-keeping systems per company procedure.· May operate equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.Qualifications· Valid Class 5 Manitoba Drivers License.· Directly related experience is preferred.· Experience working with inventory management systems.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.· Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact and provide effective service to all customers, both internal and external.· Excellent attention to detail to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.Full time, permanent employmentComprehensive benefits packageCompetitive SalaryThe opportunity to be part of a growing CompanySalary – to be discussed during the interview processThank you for you interest in Selkirk GM.
