Job Description

Our client, an oil and gas service provider, has an opening for a seasonal Forklift Operator to help with ADO operations. this is a full-time, seasonal position, that is projected to last about 5 months, could be longer depending on drilling activity. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, working 8 hour days. Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to ensure project deadlines are met.Responsibilities Include:

  • Operate forklift to offload barite super sacks from box car railcars
  • Operate forklift to load trucks
  • Ensure correct load and product goes out and paperwork gets signed
  • Operate automated wrapper to wrap barite totes
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Valid Forklift and Loader ticket along with considerable experience operating both
  • Valid H2S and First Aid Tickets
  • Valid Drivers License (NO GDL) with a clean drivers abstract (less than 6 demerits)
  • Must be willing and comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or greater
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Positive team player
  • Ability to have forethought and be a self-starter
  • Good communicator
