Job Description

Weaver Group Limited specializes in Pipeline, Facility and Civil Construction. We have grown from a single crew operation to a company that employs nearly 500 full and part time workers. And we are looking to add to our team!Current Position available: Hydrovac Operator for the Sexsmith/Grande Prairie areaJob Responsibilities:

  • Operate WGL Hydrovac as per WGL and customer expectations
  • Perform thorough pre-trip, post-trip, and unit inspections
  • Liaise with dispatch to determine daily work assignment(s)
  • Ensure vehicle and axle weights meet regulatory requirements
  • Ensure unit is clean and minor repairs & daily maintenance are performed
  • Follow WGL safety program including Safe Work Practices and Procedures
  • Accurately complete Daily Field Tickets, Logbooks, Pre-trips, Hazard Assessments, and any additional required paperwork
  • Supervise activities of Hydrovac Swamper to ensure employee skill development
Qualifications:
  • Valid Class 3 license
  • H2S Alive
  • Standard First Aid (with BC Jurisdiction)
  • Ground Disturbance 2 (ABCGA Certification)
  • CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
