Primary Locations: Shawinigan, QuebecAttendance: On-siteEmployee Status: RegularSchedule: Full-timeA career as an Investment and Retirement Specialist at National Bank is to support your clients in developing the investment strategies best suited to their needs. It will be through your determination, your networking with clients, branch advisors and internal partners, as well as your knowledge of investment products, that you will stand out.Your role

  • Contribute to the increase of savings in your sector by offering existing and new customers integrated financial solutions in line with their profile
  • Prospect new customers from targeted lists provided by the employer
  • Develop retirement plans and strategies according to the needs of each client
  • Work closely with branch financial advisors to meet clients needs as a retirement and investment expert
  • Coach financial advisors in action on topics such as pension funds, eventual retirement, tax consequences of divorce or death, complex retirement products such as CRI, RERI, FEER, LIF, annuities and retirement and severance allowances.
  • Facilitate various client conferences on investment and/or retirement planning issues
  • Follow the evolution of the market and be on the lookout for new trends
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with the various stakeholders involved in customer service activities
This position requires presence in the workplace in order to meet the needs of customers and operational. We aim to offer you maximum flexibility in your work to promote your quality of life.   • Bachelors degree in administration, finance or related to the sector of activity, desirable or DEC with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Current Mutual Fund Licence (CER) (required) and CSI Licence (an asset)
  • Experience in business development
  • Excellent command of investment products
  • Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy (possibility of a flexible work schedule)
  • Be comfortable with computer tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, new technologies ...)
