As a Fleet Supervisor, you will be reporting to the Fleet Manager.   • Ensure the highest standard of in home delivery service is achieved
  • Recruit, hire and develop staff through coaching, goal setting and conducting performance appraisals
  • Assist in the department planning, including daily operations to maximize resources and equipment utilization
  • Conduct daily scheduling, routing and load planning functions
  • Advise management or areas in which efficiency may be improved and take appropriate action
  • Actively participate in property and product damage control processes and initiatives
  • Administer investigations pertaining to workplace injuries, vehicle accidents, damage and loadamp; delivery reports
  • Conduct driver load out and check in processes
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant post secondary an asset
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in an in-home delivery/warehouse environment
  • Valid Driver #39;s License and abstract
  • Previous supervisory experience an asset
  • Knowledge of retail delivery service procedures and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and decision making ability
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise exceeding 75 lbs
